Stage 4 Hair Loss Treatment
Six months into a 12 month treatment plan for his hair loss, Dave* was receiving fantastic results. He was only 23 years old but had been shedding for 7 years. He had hair loss in the family (his dad, grandad and cousin were all balding) and it was impacting him at a young age.
He had previously visited an Ashley and Martin hair loss clinic but wasn’t ready to commence treatment. A few years later, with his hair loss more advanced, Dave signed up for a RealGROWTH treatment plan.
Dave was diagnosed with Male Pattern Baldness – Stage 4 hair loss on the Norwood scale. He was receding around his temples and his vertex was only sparsely covered with thinning strands – and it was getting worse. The consultant explained that men typically lose their hair in one of several common patterns and the ‘Norwood Scale’ was the measurement most commonly used by doctors when discussing and diagnosing male pattern baldness. The scale provides a reference point to diagnose the extent of the baldness and measure the efficacy of treatment. At stage Stage 4, Dave’s hair fall was significant, but not irreversible. He was young and fit and his consultant felt very confident that the 12 month RealGROWTH® treatment plan would deliver the results.
His consultant was right…the treatment plan was delivering the clinically proven results that he had expected but, more than that, it was also delivering confidence and reassurance to a young man who had been concerned about his appearance and worried about going bald.
